The Coalition Government has honored its commitment to reward the Fiji rugby 7s players following their impressive achievement at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The team, which secured a silver medal, will receive $20,000 each as part of an incentive program that was approved and revealed by the Coalition Government in June.
These funds were transferred through the Fiji Rugby Union, which received the payments yesterday and will soon deposit the amounts into the players’ bank accounts.
This financial reward is a gesture of gratitude for the players’ significant contributions to the nation’s success in sports.
