The Coalition Government has delivered on its pledge to reward the Fiji rugby 7s players for their remarkable achievement at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Each member of the silver medal-winning team received $20,000 as part of an incentive program that was approved and announced by the Coalition Government in June.
The funds were provided to the Fiji Rugby Union, which received the payment yesterday and will transfer the money into the players’ bank accounts.
This financial reward serves as a gesture of gratitude for the players’ impressive performance and their contribution to the country’s sporting achievements.
The Coalition Government once again extends its congratulations to the Fiji rugby 7s team for securing the silver medal and wishes them ongoing success in their future endeavors.
