The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) has announced the appointment of Apisai Ketenilagi as its new chief executive officer, effective January 2, 2025. His appointment will last for a three-year term.

FRA Board Chairman Atunaisa Nayago expressed confidence in Mr. Ketenilagi’s extensive experience and qualifications, describing him as an ideal leader for this crucial position. Nayago emphasized the Board’s belief that Ketenilagi will enhance the FRA’s performance and contribute significantly to the organization’s mission of providing safe and sustainable infrastructure throughout Fiji.

Mr. Ketenilagi brings a robust educational background, including a Master of Science in Highway Management and Engineering, an International Masters in Public Administration, a Bachelor of Engineering, and a Diploma in Civil Engineering. He is also recognized as a member of various professional engineering bodies in Australia, the UK, the USA, Asia, and Australasia.
