A group of seven individuals, including an American tourist and two foreign residents of Fiji, have fallen ill after consuming cocktails at a resort. Currently, four Australians are in critical condition in a hospital, with concerns of alcohol poisoning. Two other Australian women, aged 49 and 18, are also in critical condition but their situations are not as dire.

Health officials, alongside the police, are investigating the incident’s cause, though it is known that the affected individuals drank cocktails at the resort bar.
All four Australians are currently receiving treatment at Lautoka Hospital, located three and a half hours from the Warwick Resort on the Coral Coast. An official update is anticipated later in the day regarding their conditions.
