Today, His Excellency Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, the President of Fiji, welcomed a delegation from the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union (FSSRU) at the State House.
The members presented the President with a traditional sevusevu and invited him to officiate at the FSSRU’s 85th Deans competition celebration scheduled for tomorrow at HFC Stadium.
President Katonivere expressed his gratitude to the FSSRU for their dedication to promoting rugby in primary and secondary schools and accepted their invitation. He assured the delegation of his continuous support and encouraged them to enhance awareness of rugby’s development in remote islands, while also highlighting the importance of understanding the FSSRU’s regulations.
