Presently, four Evacuation Centres have been established, which are currently housing 61 households and 234 individuals. These centres include Andrews Primary School, Saioni Church, Korovuto Secondary School, and the Vou Dance Group Office.

In this time of need, several faith-based organizations, non-governmental entities, and the Ministry of Health have stepped in to donate cooked meals and hygiene kits. Additionally, the Fiji Red Cross has contributed dignity kits to the Saioni and Korovuto Secondary Evacuation Centres, enhancing the support for those affected.

Authorities have issued public advisories as part of precautionary measures, urging individuals to remain vigilant and prepared while avoiding unnecessary risks. The National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) and the Western Divisional Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) are actively engaged in monitoring the situation. The remaining three Divisional EOCs are also keeping a close watch on weather developments in their areas.

Currently, a Flood Warning is in effect for regions prone to flooding near and downstream of the Ba, Nasivi (Tavua), Nakauvadra (Rakiraki), and Nadi Rivers, while a Flood Alert has been issued for all flood-prone areas adjacent to the major rivers throughout Fiji. To ensure public safety, police officers are on standby for potential evacuations in affected areas and are encouraging residents to evacuate if necessary, preferably during daylight hours.
