The 49th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s is set to unfold over three thrilling days beginning Thursday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. The tournament will draw a total of 52 men’s teams competing in various divisions, including a super pool for the top eight teams and a regular pool for the remaining 44.
The women’s segment will showcase nine teams across three pools, while the 18-under-21 category will see 24 teams divided among eight pools, promising to spotlight emerging young talents. Furthermore, a new addition to this year’s tournament includes competitions for under-18 boys and girls, featuring six and four teams, respectively.
With a substantial prize pool of $48,800 available for competitors in all categories, this year’s Marist 7s is generating significant excitement within the rugby community.
