Nadi and Suva have improved their positions in the Digicel Fiji Premier League standings after the completion of Round 13 matches yesterday. Nadi has moved up to fourth place with 21 points after defeating Nadroga 1-0 at Lawaqa Park. Meanwhile, Flick Hygiene Suva has risen to eighth place with 12 points after a resounding 5-0 victory over Tailevu Naitasiri.
The top three teams in the league standings remain unchanged, even though Rewa and Lautoka have added to their points. Extra Supermarket Rewa now holds a three-point lead at the top with 30 points, while Extra Supermarket Labasa is in second place with 27 points after suffering a 4-2 defeat to Lautoka. The Flick Hygiene-sponsored Lautoka is currently in third position with 22 points.
Rooster Chicken Ba has slid to fifth place with 19 points following a 2-2 draw against Flow Engineering Navua FC, who are just one point behind with 18 points. Nadroga continues to sit in seventh place with 14 points, despite their loss to Nadi.
Nasinu has dropped to ninth place after their loss to Rewa, while Tailevu Naitasiri remains at the bottom of the table with 8 points.
