The Digicel Fiji Premier League competition is intensifying, with Extra Supermarket Rewa retaining their lead after a 3-0 win against Nadroga last night.
Rewa currently holds the top position in the standings with 34 points, followed by Extra Supermarket Labasa in second place with 29 points. Flick Hygiene Lautoka is close behind in third with 28 points after their 4-2 victory over Ba earlier this week.
This weekend, Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori will feature an exciting lineup of matches. The schedule begins with Navua taking on Tailevu Naitasiri at 11 a.m., followed by Suva versus Nadroga at 1 p.m. The highlight of the day will be the matchup between league leaders Rewa and third-placed Lautoka at 3 p.m.
In other fixtures, Extra Supermarket Labasa FC will host Nasinu FC on Saturday at Subrail Park in Labasa at 1:30 p.m., and Rooster Chicken Ba FC will compete against Nadi FC on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Ba.
