This warning comes in the wake of discussions held with civil aviation authorities regarding the dangers of misusing laser pointers in proximity to airports.
Assistant Commissioner Livai Driu has stressed the risks associated with this behavior and urged anyone who observes such actions to report them to the nearest police station by calling 917, or to contact Crimestoppers at 919.
