The Fiji Police Force has issued a warning to the public against pointing laser lights at aircraft, emphasizing that this action endangers the lives of everyone onboard. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations, Livai Driu, expressed this concern during a meeting with civil aviation authorities. Driu highlighted the serious issues related to the intentional misuse of laser pointers near airports. He urged anyone who witnesses such dangerous behavior to contact their local police station by dialing 917 or report to Crime Stoppers at 919.
