Last night, a man from Navua was arrested by the Fiji Police Force after being found in possession of illicit drugs during a search operation at his home. This coordinated effort involved the Fiji Dog Detector Unit (FDDU), which executed a search warrant as part of the investigation.
During the search, K9 Herb, a trained drug detection dog, played a crucial role in identifying specific areas of interest. This led to the discovery of a total of 171 dried plants believed to be marijuana, concealed in various locations within the residence, including beneath a mattress, inside a bedroom wardrobe, and under the kitchen table. The suspect is presently in police custody while further investigations are ongoing.
