Fiji Police Salutes Olympic Silver Medalists!

Five players from Fiji’s rugby sevens team, who won a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Paris last month, were honored by the Fiji Police Force yesterday. The recognition took place at Police Headquarters, where the Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew, along with senior officers, welcomed the athletes.

Police Constables Terio Tamani, Waisea Nacuqu, Joseva Talacolo, Filipe Sauturga, and Jeremaia Matana were celebrated for their remarkable achievements and for representing the Fiji Police Force with honor. The Acting Commissioner expressed gratitude to the five officers for proudly showcasing both the country’s and the police force’s flags. He emphasized their discipline, both on and off the field, and conveyed the pride the Fiji Police Force holds in their accomplishments while wishing them success in their future policing careers.
