The Fiji Police Force rugby team has received significant support from Shop N Save supermarket as they gear up for the Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Challenge. This marks the third consecutive year that the local supermarket has sponsored the Police Blues as they prepare to defend their title against the Republic of Fiji Military Forces on November 8 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
George Brown, a security consultant for Shop N Save Supermarket, presented the sponsorship and praised the police officers for their vital role in community and nation building.
Assistant Commissioner of Police – Crime and Police rugby president Mesake Waqa expressed gratitude for the sponsorship, stating that it will help sustain the team’s logistics. He emphasized the seriousness of their upcoming match and acknowledged the military’s determination to reclaim the bowl after their recent loss of the Escott Shield.
