The Fiji Police Force has stated that there were no reports of a stabbing at Albert Park during a concert last night. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations, Livai Driu, confirmed that officers were present at the venue from early evening until the conclusion of the event and no incidents were reported.

Driu mentioned that a social media post regarding the alleged stabbing had circulated, prompting officers at the event to investigate the claims. They have since verified that no stabbing occurred and that there were no incidents requiring police intervention.

The police are urging the public to report any issues directly to them, as spreading unverified claims can lead to unnecessary fear and concern.
