The Fiji Police Force has reported the passing of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and Chief of Staff (COS) Sakeo Raikaci, who died unexpectedly in Suva. Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu expressed deep sorrow over the loss, highlighting Raikaci’s remarkable 35 years of service and dedication to the organization.
Raikaci joined the Fiji Police Force on May 21, 1990, and throughout his career, he served in various capacities, including Acting Deputy Commissioner and multiple leadership roles within the Major Fraud Unit, CID HQ, and Training and Development. His commitment and professional integrity earned him respect and recognition, leading to his promotion to Assistant Commissioner. Raikaci also acted as the Deputy Commissioner and as Commissioner at various times, demonstrating considerable leadership during transitional periods.
