In a significant move aimed at rebuilding public trust in law enforcement, the Fiji Police Force has inaugurated a 24-hour dedicated call center at the Fiji Police Headquarters. This initiative, announced by Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu, is designed to provide a direct line for citizens to voice concerns regarding police service delivery, report crimes, or share crucial information.

Commissioner Tudravu emphasizes the importance of this call center, urging the public to engage with the new platform for all issues related to police officers and service. By utilizing this resource, citizens can ensure that their reports reach the appropriate Directors and Divisional Commanders for prompt action, with feedback provided as soon as possible.

This new call center is expected to streamline the flow of information within the police force, enhancing response times to public inquiries—a frequent point of criticism in the past. The setup allows for immediate direction from shift supervisors, thereby reinforcing accountability within the police ranks.

Tudravu strongly encourages community members to take advantage of the facility, assuring them that all reports lodged through this official channel will be diligently investigated. Citizens can reach the call center by dialing the Toll Free number 1681 or by emailing fpf.callcentre@police.gov.fj, making it easier than ever for the public to collaborate with law enforcement.

This proactive step by the Fiji Police reflects a commitment to transparency and improved service, fostering a safer environment through community engagement.
