The Fiji Police Force is currently investigating reports suggesting that UK sex workers Bonnie Blue and Annie Knight may be in Fiji. According to reports from the Daily Mail, the pair had supposedly been denied entry into Australia and are now under scrutiny after claiming they intended to provide free sexual services to 18-year-old boys during the Australian ‘schoolies’ break.
Assistant Commissioner of Police – Crime, ACP Mesake Waqa, stated that the Crime Intel and Cybercrime Unit has been tasked with verifying these claims. This comes in light of Blue, age 25, and Knight allegedly sharing images from a beach in Fiji on their social media platforms.
Blue reportedly expressed intentions on Instagram to travel to the Gold Coast for the schoolies event, stating she would provide free sex to participants in exchange for permission to film the encounters for her OnlyFans account. However, Australian authorities are said to have revoked her 12-month visitor visa after she revealed plans to engage in paid work, which is prohibited by visa regulations.
As the situation unfolds, Fijian authorities continue to investigate the matter, balancing the need for tourism with the safety and legalities surrounding such actions.
This situation highlights the ongoing dialogue surrounding tourism and the ethical boundaries that may arise in the industry. It’s crucial for countries to ensure their regulations protect their communities while also allowing for tourism to thrive. As more information comes to light, the hope remains that a resolution can be achieved that respects both local laws and the rights of individuals.
