Fiji Police Honors Olympic Silver Medalists in Style

Five Fiji 7s players who won a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Paris last month were honored by the Fiji Police Force yesterday. The event took place at Police Headquarters and was marked as a proud moment for the Fiji Police Force, which hosted the athletes and 2024 Olympic silver medalists.

Police Constables Terio Tamani, Waisea Nacuqu, Joseva Talacolo, Filipe Sauturga, and Jeremaia Matana were recognized by Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew along with other senior officers. The ceremony aimed to celebrate their accomplishments and acknowledge their honorable representation of the organization.

The Acting Commissioner expressed gratitude to the five officers for showcasing the flags of both Fiji and the Fiji Police Force with pride, highlighting their discipline on and off the field. He also conveyed the pride of the Fiji Police Force family regarding the players’ achievements and extended best wishes for their future careers in policing.
