“Fiji Police Honors Olympic Silver Medalists in Heartwarming Ceremony”

Five players from the Fiji sevens rugby team, who earned a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Paris last month, were honored by the Fiji Police Force yesterday. The recognition took place at Police Headquarters, where the Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew, along with senior officers, welcomed the athletes.

Police Constables Terio Tamani, Waisea Nacuqu, Joseva Talacolo, Filipe Sauturga, and Jeremaia Matana were acknowledged for their achievements and their representation of the Fiji Police Force with honor. The Acting Commissioner expressed gratitude to the five officers for proudly showcasing both the nation and the police force and commended their discipline on and off the field. He conveyed that the Fiji Police Force family is proud of the officers’ accomplishments and wished them success in their policing careers.
