Fiji Police Honors Olympic Heroes in Silver Celebration

Five members of the Fiji 7s rugby team, who recently earned a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Paris, were honored by the Fiji Police Force yesterday. The ceremony took place at Police Headquarters, showcasing a proud moment for both the Fiji Police and the athletes.

The recipients of the recognition included Police Constables Terio Tamani, Waisea Nacuqu, Joseva Talacolo, Filipe Sauturga, and Jeremaia Matana. They were welcomed by Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew along with senior police officials.

The Acting Commissioner expressed gratitude to the officers for representing the Fiji Police Force and the nation with honor and discipline both on and off the field. He acknowledged their achievements and conveyed the pride the Fiji Police Force family feels for their success, wishing them the best in their future policing careers.
