The Fiji Police Force has announced that there were no incidents of a stabbing at Albert Park last night. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations, Livai Driu, stated that officers were present at the concert venue from early evening until it concluded, and there have been no reports of a stabbing related to the event.

Driu highlighted that a social media post claimed such an incident occurred, and officers stationed at the venue were assigned to verify these claims. They confirmed that no stabbing took place, nor was there any incident requiring police intervention.

The public is encouraged to report any concerns directly to the police, as unfounded claims can lead to unnecessary panic and anxiety.
