The Fiji Police Force has confirmed that there were no incidents of stabbing at Albert Park during the concert last night. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations Livai Driu stated that officers were present at the venue from early evening until the conclusion of the event, and no reports of a stabbing were received up to this morning.
Driu noted that a social media post circulating about the alleged incident prompted police to verify the claims, leading to the confirmation that there was no stabbing nor any event that required police intervention.
The public is urged to report any concerns directly to the Police for investigation, as unfounded claims can lead to unnecessary panic and anxiety.
