In the first case, a 36-year-old man from Wailea, Vatuwaqa, is accused of deceiving a victim on May 21, 2023, by claiming he had mistakenly sent her a One Time Pin (OTP) and requesting that she send it back to him. After receiving the OTP, he allegedly transferred $447.00 to himself.

In the second case, another 36-year-old man from Koronivia is accused of dishonestly obtaining $190 from a victim on November 17, 2023.
