The murder case involving Police Constable Peniasi Racagi has officially moved to the High Court, marking a significant development in the legal proceedings. Keni Solowale, aged 42, and Jope Seniloli, 20, both from Qauia, Lami, were presented before the Suva Magistrates Court today, where they are facing serious charges related to Racagi’s murder.

The allegations state that the two men assisted an unidentified individual in inflicting injuries on Constable Racagi between February 21 and 22, 2026, leading to his tragic death. Magistrate Sofia Yamza classified the offense as an indictable one, underscoring the case’s gravity. While Seniloli has secured legal representation, Solowale is currently unrepresented.

Both defendants have been remanded in custody as they await their next court appearance, scheduled for March 19 at the Suva High Court.
