Fiji’s national netball team, the Fiji Pearls, is set to begin their 2025 PacificAus Sports Netball series campaign on February 17 in Brisbane. This tournament will feature a variety of international teams, providing a vital opportunity for Fiji to prepare for the upcoming Netball World Cup.

The fifth edition of the PacificAus Sports Netball series, supported by the Australian Government, will bring together teams from Samoa, Tonga, Scotland, Papua New Guinea, and First Nations Australia. This diverse competition is expected to challenge the Fiji Pearls, enhancing their team cohesion and refining their game skills against different playing styles.

Fiji’s opening match will be against Samoa on February 17 at 3 PM. Following that, they will face Scotland on February 18 at 3 PM, and then Tonga on February 19 at 7 PM. The team will compete against Papua New Guinea on February 20 at 5 PM and conclude their round-robin stage against First Nations Australia on February 21 at 3 PM. The tournament will wrap up with finals on February 22, where the fifth-place team will play First Nations Australia at 11 AM, and the top two teams will vie for the championship title at 3 PM.

This series not only provides an excellent platform for the Fiji Pearls to showcase their skills but also serves as a pivotal step in their preparations for the global stage.
