Fiji Partners with UNDP for Sustainable Tourism Boost

The Fijian Cabinet has authorized the signing of a Letter of Agreement between the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as part of the Governance for Resilient Development in the Pacific Project (Gov4Res).

This agreement will provide essential human resource support to the Ministry from the UNDP through the Gov4Res initiative. The collaboration aims to facilitate important projects, including the Pilot Tourism Micro and Small Enterprises Fund and the Vanua Levu Tourism Development Programme.

This partnership underscores a shared commitment to advancing resilient development in the Pacific, focusing on support for small businesses and the promotion of sustainable tourism growth.
