Applications for the Semester 1, 2025 intake at the Fiji National University (FNU) College of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences (CMNHS) are now open.
Prospective students can apply for a range of undergraduate and graduate healthcare programs. Dr. Amelia Turagabeci, Acting Dean of CMNHS, emphasized FNU’s commitment to equipping students with the tools necessary for their success.
Dr. Turagabeci noted, “The College of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences at Fiji National University is now accepting applications. Students can begin the formal registration process. While the admissions committee conducts a thorough review of all applications, prospective students may start to enroll. Final enrollment decisions will be made following the announcement of external examination results.”
Due to issues with late enrollment in previous years, Dr. Turagabeci advised candidates to complete their applications promptly to secure a place in their preferred programs.
The mission of CMNHS is to develop highly skilled medical professionals capable of making significant contributions to Fiji’s healthcare system. The college offers a robust curriculum designed to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for their careers.
Dr. Turagabeci expressed enthusiasm for welcoming new healthcare leaders to CMNHS, stating, “Our programs aim to produce graduates who possess not only academic credentials but also empathy and a commitment to serve their communities.”
Interested students can apply online through the FNU website, email the Academic Team at admission@fnu.ac.fj, or visit their nearest FNU campus. For additional inquiries, students can text the toll-free number 857 for Vodafone and Inkk users.
The application deadline is set for 31 October 2024.
