Fiji National University Celebrates 579 Graduates: A Bright Future Ahead!

The Fiji National University (FNU) recently celebrated the graduation of approximately 579 students from its College of Humanities, Education and Law (CHEL). The event took place yesterday and was marked by an inspiring address from Paula Manumanunitoga, the General Secretary of the Fijian Teacher’s Association. He encouraged the graduates to transition into their professional lives with confidence and strong ethical values, emphasizing that integrity and professionalism are key to sustainable success. “Your decisions will not only reflect on you but also on your community and your country,” Manumanunitoga stated, urging them to let their moral compass guide their actions.

The graduation celebrations will extend over three days, with today’s festivities honoring 574 students from the College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, the College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism Studies, and the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. Tomorrow, an additional 541 students will graduate from the College of Engineering & Technical Vocational Education & Training (CETVET), the National Training and Productivity Centre (NTPC), and the Pacific Centre for Maritime Studies.

As FNU recognizes the achievements of its students, it underscores its commitment to providing quality education and fostering future leaders equipped to contribute positively to society. Each graduating class is seen as a beacon of hope for Fiji, with these young leaders prepared to tackle societal challenges ahead.

Overall, the graduation not only celebrates the achievements of individuals but also reflects the ongoing growth and resilience of educational standards in Fiji, promoting potential for innovation and progress in the nation.
