Fiji National Club Championship 2025: Zonal Playoffs Heat Up as Clubs Vie for Finals Berth

Twelve football clubs from across Fiji are set to compete in the 2025 National Club Championship zonal playoffs, gearing up for an exciting bid to secure a spot in the finals next month. The competition is heating up as teams prepare for their respective playoff matches.

In the Northern Division, Northpole FC, the defending champions from Labasa, will face Legends FC from Taveuni in a key playoff match, with the winner advancing to represent the Northern Zone in the national finals. This high-stakes encounter is scheduled for December 6 at Bocalevu Primary School in Labasa.

The Southern Division will see competition from six clubs: Narere Buses Combine FC (Suva), Combine Verata FC (Rewa), Friends United (Nasinu), Police FC (Tailevu Naitasiri), League FC (Navua), and Lami Rangers (Lami). These teams will compete in pools of three, playing a total of two matches each. The group winners will secure direct passage to the NCC finals, while the runners-up will vie for the final qualification spot.

In the Western Division, four teams have qualified: 4R FC (Ba), Ray United FC (Lautoka), Army FC (Nadi), and Downtown FC (Nadroga). They will engage in a round-robin format, wherein the top two teams will earn their place in the national playoffs.

The Southern Zone playoffs will take place from December 5-8 at the Fiji FA Academy in Vatuwaqa, while the Western Zone matches are slated for December 4-7 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba. The National Club Championship Final Play-offs are set for December 11-14, with the venue yet to be confirmed.
