Tevita Kuruvakadua, the former Chief Executive of the Fiji Public Trustee Corporation, has died following a brief illness at the age of 51. He passed away on August 13. Kuruvakadua was appointed to his position in April 2024 and led the Corporation until last month, when he opted for early retirement.
In a statement, the FPTC acknowledged that although his tenure was short, Kuruvakadua’s extensive knowledge, dedication, and fresh viewpoints resonated with the staff. They noted, “His contribution has left a lasting impact on the organization, and his leadership will always be remembered.”
With a professional background in accounting and financial management, Kuruvakadua’s expertise was influential during his time in office. Details regarding his funeral arrangements are expected to be announced soon.
