Tevita Kuruvakadua, the former Chief Executive of the Fiji Public Trustee Corporation, has passed away at the age of 51 after a brief illness. He died on August 13. Kuruvakadua was appointed to his role in April 2024 and served until his early retirement last month.
In a statement, the FPTC acknowledged that despite his short tenure, Kuruvakadua brought significant expertise, enthusiasm, and a new perspective that connected well with the staff. His contributions have made a lasting impression on the organization, and his leadership will be fondly remembered.
Kuruvakadua had a background in accounting and financial management. Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced soon.
