Tevita Kuruvakadua, the former Chief Executive of the Fiji Public Trustee Corporation, has died at the age of 51 after a brief illness. He passed away on August 13. Kuruvakadua was appointed to his position in April 2024 and had been leading the Corporation until he took early retirement last month.
In a statement, the FPTC acknowledged that despite his short tenure, Kuruvakadua brought significant knowledge, enthusiasm, and a new perspective that resonated well with the staff.
