Tevita Kuruvakadua, the former Chief Executive of the Fiji Public Trustee Corporation, has died at the age of 51 following a brief illness. He passed away on August 13. Kuruvakadua was appointed to his role in April 2024 and served until last month when he opted for early retirement. The Fiji Public Trustee Corporation released a statement highlighting that although his tenure was short, he made significant contributions, bringing extensive knowledge, enthusiasm, and a new outlook that resonated with the staff. The organization acknowledged that his leadership made a lasting impression. Kuruvakadua had a professional background in accounting and financial management.
