Members of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces participated in Disaster Risk Management Training organized by the Fiji National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) in Suva on August 7.
The role of the RFMF is crucial in supporting disaster management initiatives, as outlined in the Natural Disaster Management Act of 1998.
The primary objective of this week’s training is to prepare first responders to adhere to current emergency response protocols. It is expected that the training will also enhance collaborative efforts in disaster management.
