The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) celebrated Christmas Day by visiting the Nasinu Corrections Facility, where they provided Bibles and various items to inmates aimed at supporting their rehabilitation and spiritual growth. This meaningful outreach effort was executed by members of the RFMF Force Training Group alongside RFMF Padre Captain Taniela Tama.

This initiative is part of the RFMF’s broader community outreach strategy, which emphasizes reflection, moral guidance, and personal development for individuals in correctional care. The Bibles are intended to serve as beacons of encouragement and spiritual comfort, offering inmates a chance to reflect on their lives and prepare for a positive reintegration into society.

The handover on Christmas Day underscored the military’s dedication to restorative programs that promote hope, accountability, and transformation beyond the confines of traditional military roles. Through these efforts, the RFMF aims to inspire change and foster a sense of community and support for those seeking a new path in life.
