Fiji Men’s 7s head coach Osea Kolinisau is exploring the option of entering the national team in one or two local tournaments this year. As many players prepare to represent their clubs in upcoming competitions, the national team may also participate if the schedule permits.
Kolinisau stated, “We’re already conducting strength tests to build our foundation for the 2025 series.” He is focused on incorporating younger players into the squad, recognizing the developmental advantages of local competitions.
“If our schedule allows, we might participate in one or two tournaments. We have many young players coming in, and it’s a chance to include some of these young talents in our development,” he added.
