This morning, the Fiji Men’s 7s rugby team, led by Head Coach Osea Kolinisau, embarked on their journey to Hong Kong, before heading to France.
Kolinisau expressed a mix of excitement and acknowledgment of the upcoming challenges. He said, “The Olympic Games is a special event. Our main challenge will be acclimating to the pace and dynamics of the international stage, considering our limited shared time. Nonetheless, I have faith in our team’s talent and experience.”
The Olympic Rugby 7s tournament is set to commence on the 24th of this month.
The Olympic 7s squad comprises Jerry Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Joseva Talacolo, Jeremaia Matana, Ponipate Loganimasi, Josaia Raisuqe, Terio Veilawa, Iosefo Masi, Iowane Teba, Selestinio Ravutaumada, Ratu Filipe Sauturaga, Kaminieli Rasaku, Joji Nasova, and Vuiviawa Naduvalo.
