A 27-year-old man has been apprehended by the M-PAiSA task force of the Fiji Police for allegedly fraudulently obtaining money under false pretenses. The individual reportedly deceived two victims in August and September, collecting $150 for items listed for sale on Facebook that were never delivered.
He faces two counts of Obtaining Financial Advantage by Deception and is scheduled to appear in the Nadi Magistrates Court.
