A 27-year-old man has been arrested by the M-PAiSA task force of the Fiji Police for reportedly gaining financial benefits through deceptive practices.
The suspect allegedly defrauded two individuals out of a total of $150 during August and September by advertising items for sale on Facebook that he never delivered. As a result of these actions, he has been charged with two counts of Obtaining Financial Advantage by Deception and is set to appear in the Nadi Magistrates Court.
