A couple originally from Fiji, Jiten Lal and Sandya Chand, recently returned home from New Zealand to celebrate their wedding after dating for over six years. Having spent nearly three decades in Auckland, New Zealand, the couple has always cherished their Fijian roots, making their home country the ideal location for their special day.
Lal, who comes from Nausori, and Chand, from Nadi, met in Manukau, Auckland, and shared a live-in relationship for over six years before deciding to marry five months ago. They expressed their profound joy at hosting their wedding in Fiji, where many family members and friends could attend to celebrate their union. “Fiji is our birth country and we feel so privileged and honored to get married here,” Lal shared.

The event center was beautifully decorated, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating,” said Lal.
