Former Fiji Link Chief Executive Officer Shaenaz Voss and former Senior Security Officer Sharun Ali are currently under investigation by the Fiji Police Force. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Crime, ACP Mesake Waqa, confirmed that the investigation pertains to allegations of the unlawful carriage of firearms and ammunition on domestic flights.
Both Voss and Ali were spotted leaving the Nadi Police Station yesterday. Recently, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions dropped charges against Voss for not meeting the requirements of the operator’s airline security program. Voss had previously faced charges regarding the unlawful carriage of firearms on a flight from Nausori to Labasa Airport in 2018.
