Former Chief Executive Officer of Fiji Link, Shaenaz Voss, along with former Senior Security Officer Sharun Ali, are currently being questioned by the Fiji Police Force. Assistant Commissioner of Police for Crime, Mesake Waqa, reported that both individuals are under investigation for allegations related to the unlawful transport of firearms and ammunition on domestic flights.
Recently, Voss and Ali were spotted leaving the Nadi Police Station. In a previous development, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions had withdrawn charges against Voss concerning non-compliance with the requirements of the airline’s security program. Voss had faced charges regarding the unlawful carriage of firearms on a flight from Nausori to Labasa Airport in 2018.
