Former Fiji Link Chief Executive Officer Shaenaz Voss and former Senior Security Officer Sharun Ali are currently being questioned by the Fiji Police Force.
Assistant Commissioner of Police – Crime, ACP Mesake Waqa, stated that the two are under investigation for allegations involving the unlawful carriage of firearms and ammunition on domestic flights.
Both Voss and Ali were seen leaving the Nadi Police Station yesterday.
Last week, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions dropped charges against the former Fiji Link CEO for not complying with the requirements of the airline’s security program.
Voss had previously been charged with unlawfully carrying firearms on a flight from Nausori to Labasa Airport in 2018.
