Former Fiji Link Chief Executive Officer Shaenaz Voss and former Senior Security Officer Sharun Ali are under investigation by the Fiji Police Force. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Crime ACP Mesake Waqa confirmed that they are being questioned regarding allegations related to the unlawful transportation of firearms and ammunition on domestic flights.
Both individuals were observed leaving the Nadi Police Station yesterday. This investigation follows the withdrawal of charges last week by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions against Voss for not adhering to the requirements of the airline’s security program. Voss had previously faced charges for illegally carrying firearms on a flight from Nausori to Labasa Airport in 2018.
