He emphasized the crucial role of adaptation financing, particularly through the International Development Association’s 21st replenishment. Professor Prasad also called for enhanced regional collaboration, citing the regional correspondent banking arrangement as an effective model for stability and growth. He stressed the necessity of pooling resources and expertise within the region to promote sustainable development and bolster climate resilience.
