Fiji Lawyer Arrested Amid Corruption Investigations

Suva lawyer Barbara Malimali has been apprehended by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) and is currently undergoing questioning. Reports suggest that the inquiry is related to alleged abuse of office. FICAC had originally planned to hold a press conference at 11:30 am, but it has since been rescheduled to a later time and date.
