Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka emphasized Fiji’s dedication to marine science, innovation, and environmental preservation during the launch of the new research vessel, MV Yau Dikevi, on Friday.
This modern vessel, commissioned for the Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources at Novotel Lami, is set to significantly enhance Fiji’s understanding of its oceanic ecosystems. Mr. Rabuka characterized the MV Yau Dikevi as a representation of the nation’s commitment to scientific advancement and responsible environmental management.
