Fiji Junior Kulas Set for High-Stakes Clash Against Samoa

Fiji U-16 Junior Kulas head coach Marika Rodu has stated that their goal is to secure the top position in their group with one decisive match remaining against Samoa in the OFC U-16 Women’s Championships. Fiji currently holds a record of one draw and one win, totaling four points, while Samoa leads with two wins and six points.

“The girls fought hard to keep our hopes alive in topping the pool. Moving forward, it’s about scoring and winning the game against Samoa,” said Rodu following yesterday’s match against the Cook Islands.

Rodu also reflected on lessons learned from their game against Tonga, noting that adjustments were made for better performance. “We made a few changes, and I believe we played slightly better. We aim to improve with each game,” he added.

Fiji’s crucial match against Samoa is set for Saturday at 3 PM at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
