Weather Update
Attention, all Fiji residents! It seems the weather is feeling particularly generous with its rainclouds today. A Heavy Rain Alert is officially in effect for the entire Fiji Group, and trust us, your umbrellas are going to earn their keep!
Let’s dive into the forecast: a pesky trough of low pressure has decided to settle in, bringing along its entourage of clouds and rain, making it the talk of the island party—minus the snacks, of course.
Tonight and right up to midnight tomorrow, expect a splashy show across the Fiji group, with occasional bouts of rain that might just be referred to as “heavy” at times. Thunderstorms will be dropping by uninvited, but don’t worry, they’ll eventually fade away by tomorrow. Winds will be teaming up to give you a moderate to fresh southeasterly breeze that may or may not come with surprises. And just a heads up: seas might feel a bit moody, so tread carefully if you’re venturing out.
Looking ahead to Tuesday: it seems the party’s not entirely over. Occasional showers and a couple of cheeky thunderstorms will make their rounds, especially over Vanua Levu, Taveuni, and a few of the smaller islands. Other places can anticipate some afternoon or evening showers, perfect for contemplating life choices while staring out your window. Winds will once again be moderate and from the northeast, and the seas will continue to channel some excitement.
Here’s the scoop for our lovely spots!
